The Inspired To Inspire Foundation

With the grant support, The Inspired to Inspire Foundation launched a skilling program to empower young mothers and out-of-school youth living in last-mile communities in Kanungu District, Uganda. Through this initiative, 30 young women were equipped with tailoring skills, business development training, and financial literacy. The grant enabled the foundation to acquire five sewing machines, which facilitated structured training in garment making for the participants. The participants, many of whom were single mothers, GBV survivors, and school dropouts, gained practical skills and tools for economic independence. The program also integrated sessions on reproductive health, gender equality, and climate awareness, positioning participants as local change agents and sparking broader community dialogue on the importance of investing in young women’s economic potential.
