Tanzania Youth Competence for Community

With the grant, Tanzania Youth Competence for Community (TYCC) initiated Kibubu Changu Kidigitali Project, which empowered 50 young women entrepreneurs aged 17–28 from Kisarawe District, Tanzania. The program enhanced participants’ financial literacy, entrepreneurship skills, and access to digital saving and investment platforms. TYCC also conducted awareness campaigns reaching 10,000 beneficiaries, promoted gender equality, inspired disadvantaged girls, advocated for increased resource allocation to improve girls’ access to finance, and encouraged the use of technology for financial growth. The project further inspired the formation of girls’ groups, i.e., Kizota, Viwandani, Kibubu Queens, and Kibubu Ladies.
