Kazi Women Foundation

Through its flagship program, Kazi Girls, Kazi Women Foundation empowered girls aged 8 to 16 to design and lead their own initiative. With support from the grant, the group launched a menstruation awareness campaign in one local school and a semi-urban community, reaching a total of 300 participants; 100 from the school and 200 from the community. This campaign included the distribution of sanitary towels, T-shirts, tote bags, and menstrual counting beads to support menstrual health education. In addition, the Kazi Girls used part of the funds from the grant to support one of their members in successfully completing her Primary Leaving Education. This initiative strengthened menstrual awareness, improved access to menstrual health resources, and showcased the power of youth-led decision-making and collective action in the community.
