The grant helped the program implement its first funded project aimed at promoting Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights (SRHR) and Mental Health and Hygiene (MHH) among adolescent girls. The initiative included workshops on SRHR, MHH, and life skills, reaching 150 girls and enhancing their knowledge, confidence, and ability to make informed health decisions. The project also integrated Early Childhood Development (ECD) activities to support younger girls. Through this program, participants demonstrated increased self-esteem, improved social skills, and a stronger capacity to advocate for their rights. Additionally, the grant helped raise COCO’s visibility in the community due to its impactful work with girls.
