Over 260 young women have gained entrepreneurial and marketable skills, with most of them launching their enterprises in the fashion sector (tailoring, dressmaking, salon services, and henna application), poultry rearing, vegetable farming, and in retail operations.

Economic Empowerment among young women

Over 260 young women have gained entrepreneurial and marketable skills, with most of them launching their enterprises in the fashion sector (tailoring, dressmaking, salon services, and henna application), poultry rearing, vegetable farming, and in retail operations.

Upholding Women's rights, Health & well-being

The funded initiatives conducted awareness and advocacy programs, which have helped girls and young women gain comprehensive knowledge of Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) and mental health.

Leadership

More than 100 young women have undergone leadership training. Through the funded initiatives, girls and young women have come together to form peer communities and networks. Example: the Girls Buzz platform, which now has over 70 active members.

Championing Inclusivity

The program embraced diversity, whereby it engaged women with disabilities, women from refugee settlements, and members of queer communities.
